HP today announced that RAKO-GROUP (RAKO) has purchased two HP Indigo 20000 Digital Presses and nine HP Indigo WS6800 Digital Presses, making it the largest labels and packaging deal in HP Indigo history. The purchase builds on RAKO’s existing fleet of HP Indigo Digital Presses and expands its multi-press, multi-site labels and packaging digital offerings while providing increased capacity to help meet customer demands.

Multi-vendor Solution Outlines NFV Path for Telcos

Today HP announced it has joined with NFV ecosystem partners, F5 Networks and Nuage Networks, and Telstra, Australia’s leading telecommunications and information services company, to develop a Networks Functions Virtualization (NFV) proof of concept (PoC) solution. This multi-vendor solution has been certified by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), providing communications service providers (CSPs) with a documented, repeatable framework that can be referenced in deploying NFV technologies.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Form 10 Declared Effective

Today, Hewlett-Packard Company (“HP”) announced that the Securities and Exchange Commission has declared effective the Registration Statement on Form 10 (the “Form 10”) filed by Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company (“Hewlett Packard Enterprise”) in connection with the separation of HP into two companies: Hewlett Packard Enterprise and HP Inc. The effectiveness of the Form 10 is one of the final important steps towards completing the separation, which is expected to occur on November 1, 2015.
